This is a nice book with beautiful photography. Unfortunately, the descriptions of each location really had no depth or detailed information to them. It feels like a bunch of quick snippets from the web. We were hoping for real details on each location. Best lodgings, secret spots, best restaurants, history, etc.

As good as it looks/sounds . . . Can't run out of ideas/pictures/placesIt's taking a while to get through b/c there's So Much to see . . .You can get lost in the pictures , or use them as inspiration for your next trip :)-easy to use, as little side maps show u where in the globe the attraction is locatedMy pal & I perused thru it for an hour . . . then it got too heavy for him -- 5lbs !!!

I purchased this as a gift for my mother, who enjoys traveling. I'm so excited to give it to her. It's a gorgeous book with good organization, bite-sized lists, and stellar pictures.

Great pictures as always!!!! National Geographic never disappoints. We gave it to my father-in-law as a birthday gift and he loved it!

Love this book. A great book just to enjoy and dream about planning your bucket list. Great ideas, photos, descriptions. I saw this at a hotel and ordered it immediately. I have not regretted getting this wonderful book.

The seller was Amazon. I paid 20 bucks in November 2011. I purchased it as a gift for a relative. The binding was solid. It contained lots of beautiful photos. It was organized well, and had lots of helpful and interesting information. It was well received.

It was a gift to my fiance. He loved it! We are "off the beaten path" travelers and this is a perfect book for us with great ideas. The photography is stunning too! Great coffee table book!
