These are extremely easy readers, my son's first actually. He just turned 5 and though we've had them for a few months, he's just now getting really into them and working on reading them. They do progress in order. Books 11 & 12 are much more difficult to read then books 1 & 2. He's extremely confident and is so excited he can read the first few books by himself. This set is perfect for my Thomas loving son! Would recommend.
My son loves the fact that Thomas and Friends are in these small books. They are just the perfect size for kids.
I am using this set with a special needs child that really likes the Thomas the Tank Engine characters. Having 12 books means we don't have to read the same one all the time. Really love how the books have a few of the same words to help a young reader recognize it in the different stories.
Wonderful little books for the price. They are a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but they are loved by my nephew and they are helping him with his reading.
They lasted longer than I thought. My only complaint is that I wish it used velcro to open and shut the box. My 2yo doesn't understand the concept to remove the books, but my 5yo loves to read them, ever since he was 4.
My kid loves these books but the paper binding is so thin that they tear easily. Not good for a preschooler!
Cute little books. Not exactly what I was expecting. Very short and no real sentences. Short and to the point I guess.
Grandson loved it.
