Similar to the new "Dungeon Tiles Reincarnated: Dungeon" set, this set has great artwork, but seems designed to only be useful if you purchase multiple sets. Compared to the older "Dungeon Tiles Master set: Wilderness" (which I own two of), this set includes not only grasslands, but marsh/swamp tiles and desert/beach tiles. While I welcome the addition of different terrains, the set seems to try to include too many of them and not enough of each to be very useful without buying at least two sets. I think it would have worked better as three different sets each dedicated to one terrain type, but perhaps I just have a tendency to construct larger scenes, and maybe it would work fine for other people.The set (disappointingly) includes a lot of items that are exactly the same as the older set, most of which have limited utility, like the Stonehenge tile. The new oasis tile also has limited utility. The generic dirt roads on the other hand are always useful. The new tents and boats are great, and will see heavy use, while some of the new houses could've been more useful if they weren't surrounded by water - the swamp house is cool, but only works as a swamp house. I would have rather had just a house that goes all the way to the edges of the tile, and more water's-edge tiles to put around it so it could be a swamp house surrounded by water or a shore house with a beach or wharf on one side, or just a normal house surrounded by grass.Perhaps most perplexing in this set is the inclusion of one corner of a palisade (wooden stake wall). It looks great, and there are a few tiles with a pile of stakes, and a cool-looking unfinished wall end, but there are at best one fourth of the amount of walls you would need to make even a small enclosure. There are like 2-3 short straight sections and one corner... What am I supposed to make out of that? Even if you buy 4 sets, I don't remember there being a matching wooden gate in the set...Overall, the older set is more cohesive and I highly recommend it over this one unless you don't mind buying multiple of these tile sets. Honestly I will probably buy another of these, but I kind of feel scammed into it by being given at best one half of 3 different tile sets.

This is an incredible quality tile set that arrives in a functional 12" x 9" box printed with the same grassland pattern so you can use the box as elevated ground! These double sided map tiles are printed on a thick sturdy cardboard with a premium finish. It includes plenty of generic modules so you can tailor your pathways and environments to your unique needs, and comes with lots of interesting objects and obstacles, including a Ballista, Craters, Walls, Tents, Campfires, Corpses, and a lot more. There are also far more tiles than I was expecting. The only cons are they may slide and glare a bit under bright light, but neither case seemed too extreme.I bought the Wilderness set and the Dungeon set and I may get the City set too. I've also bought the competetor, Pathfinder's, map tiles as well and for the same price received about 18 one sided tiles that lack the durability and versatility you offered here. In conclusion, I can easily recommend this.

I got all three of these tile sets. They are much better than the original. You get far more tiles for roughly the same price. The wilderness has a good amount of swamp land in it and desert land with some beachfront and water. The city has better buildings and the dungeon set was my favorite. It has some rounded edges. Sweeping hallways and other more custom shapes. There are some reprints of the old tile sets but the coloring is superior on the reincarnated. They have oudone themselves to be honest. I didn't know what to expect before seeing them. I couldn't stop smiling as I went through them like a kid on Christmas.

Love these tiles for running my game. Each themed set contains a few dozen tiles of differing sizes and shapes, with different images printed on each side so that you can customize your battlefields, towns, or dungeons. I have two sets of wilderness tiles, and one each of the city and dungeon, which allows me to create an almost endless array of layouts for my players. Much more visually appealing than the plain hex mats that I've been using since the 90s when I started in the game, and both sturdier and more versatile than printed flip mats like the ones that pathfinder sells.

This is exactly what I needed as a DM. I bought the whole set and didn't perceived any scratch or printing error, even after international shipping. Made from good, resistant cardboard, the printing is beautiful.One thing that would be very helpful would be some sort of insert to organize the tiles, once you rip them from the sheets. I guess that would probably increase the product's price, though.Oh, and on a side note, if you own the previous dungeon tiles set back from the 4th edition, I wouldn't recommend you to buy these new ones. Most of it are reprinted sheets from the old sets. It would be good, maybe, to purchase only the ones you didn't buy at that time.

In my opinion they lack versatility. I was wanting more furniture peices and statues and less corridors that only fit together in a few ways. I have a hexmap and have these tiles as sections that i draw connecting rooms and hallways to. All and all these tiles aren't very useful. I suppose if you don't have a hexmap they are a good substitute

My kids received the dnd starter set from Santa a long with the player handbook and thus our adventure began. Shortly after we found these and got them. They have been used for campaign sets, one shots and even for LEGO story modeling to live action tell stories for my dyslexic son.

Really good tile sets, but it can be a hassle organizing them and finding the right ones since they are all loose leaf.
