First off, I read the entire Angels Hospital series. Each one was better than the previous one. The series takes place in a hospital in PA, and the final book follows Doctor Regina Freeman, though the book also goes into situations faced by the other three main characters from the series.Critical Condition is a hugely addictive novel. I couldn't put it down. Trapped in the hospital during a blizzard that shuts down the city, the women have to attempt to keep patients and themselves alive when a killer comes in looking for a bit of evidence held by Dr. Lydia Fiore.This book has all the elements that make a great story: action, drama, romance and information you can learn from. As with the other books in the series, Lyons takes her medical knowledge and applies it to an exceptional novel.
This is the second book of this series that I have read. I enjoyed it.It is an unlikely chain of events, but this is fiction. To me, the maincharacters are interesting.
This last book was fast paced, explosive, spine tingling, hold you breath around every corner exciting.I rooted for the good guys, and cried at the end.What a wild ride this was!Cj Lyons, please write another book with a look at what the characters have been up to!
I loved this book. It was exciting, thoughtful and I didn't want to put it down. Unfortunately I read this book #4 first! I didn't mean to but anyway I thought the writing put me into the story it flowed so well. The continuity keep me wanting to hurry , and at the same time I didn't want to finish it. WOW! I am now reading Book #1 and am loving it also.
Heart stopping, pulse pounding, edge of your seat kind of exciting! By far my favorite series. I'm saddened to know that I have read the final chapter of this thrilling story. I've come to know the characters of the story and will be disheartened to loose them. As a nurse I was grateful for the real life way the medical terminology was written. Had to have been written by a professional! Love CJ Lyons!
This is the last of the series of "Angels of Mercy", so you need to start from the beginning to know the characters. Otherwise you will be lost as to what is happening all along. It will keep you reading and becoming involved in each characters lives. The author has a way of keeping your imagination going and throwing a bit of humor that will have you literally laughing out loud and then bring tears to your eyes.
Critical Condition was a wonderful, mesmerizing and action packed book. The past, present, and future were all represented. I would highly recommend this trilogy. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat, while I was pulling for the people I've come to know at Angels of Mercy. Enjoy!!
This book is part of a series that I ordered. It is entertaining and easy to read. Stories are well written and the action is fast paced.
