Love it. Excellent primer. But a few things... It's important to note that the house system they use in this book is called Placidus. Research that versus whole sign system. Figure out which method/system you prefer. Also if you want to draw up your chart you don't have to follow their directions. just go to astro.com and go to free horoscopes then Ascendant, natal chart. They urge you to order from some website i've never heard of. just research how to draw your own chart on astro.comYou'll also want to make sure you know your exact birth time and place to get the most out of this book.

Fantastic workbook that I used for an Introduction to Astrology Class. Very clear, easy to follow and understand. Slowly takes you through your chart with great exercises, charts, keywords for houses, signs and planets, and thorough explanations. Even goes into the nodes, asteroids, retrogrades and transits. I wish I had a book like this when I was trying to grasp these concepts back in the 70s!
