If you are experienced at all in Greenhouses this book is NOT FOR YOU, don't waste your money. If you are looking for something to help you dip your toe into the waters, looking to figure out the very basics in short, straight to the point ways, this IS FOR YOU. I would also like to note, this book is only 100 pages and is in a decently sized font with plenty of pictures and a few helpful tables to help determine what type of greenhouse is right for you. It's a good place to start your research.
I’m new to greenhouse gardening and I love it love it love it! Well outlined, easy to understand and contains a lot of useful examples to grow.
This book covers everything you need to know to get started with your own greenhouse. The instructions on how to grow different vegetables in a greenhouse have been particular useful for me.
This book was very helpful with the basics of available greenhouse choices and systems. It was a helpful review for me, too, and gave me some new ideas to decrease maintenance costs.

I found nothing in this book that couldn't be found in the various advertiseents from greenhouse supply or gardening/seed catalogs. Bought it along with the Black and Decker greenhouse book (for just a few pennies more...) and the Black and Decker book is a far, far better choice.
Well written and thought out book. Really enjoyed reading it.
The author does a great job at writing concise information on a topic and covering relative aspects. As a gardener interested in having a greenhouse I found the book educational and informative. Although our focus is more on building our greenhouse, the author covers the pros and cons of each method of obtaining one whether you choose to buy a pre built or build your own. Each type and material is broken down and explained well. At each step different options are explored as well as the pros and cons of each, from the most to the least expensive. This format continues throughout the book as the author leads us through the many benefits of having a greenhouse and the best plants to grow in it. The book wraps up with recommendations on maintenance and how to incorporate hydroponics in your greenhouse, which I felt was a perfect ending that left me wanting to get going on our greenhouse project. Outside of the greenhouse structure itself, the highlight of this book for me was the chapter "How to grow fruits in a greenhouse". Growing a small citrus tree would be a dream and if we could protect the dwarf peach trees from our late spring frosts - I would be a very happy gardener! I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about a greenhouse and more.
